This mask caught our attention because it is an all in one mask and scrub.

Garnier launched the new Glow Boost 2-in-1 Facial Mask and Scrub. This scrub is infused with apricot seeds and made with natural ingredients. Lately, a lot of brands have been launching new skincare products but Garnier’s new mask caught our attention because it is an all in one mask and scrub. I rarely see brands make all in one skin care products. Garnier claims that the mask will revive dull skin and brighten your complexion. Today, I decided to put this product to the test to see if it really works.

I was excited to try this product because using exfoliants like this one, helps the skin. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, the skin is constantly shedding dead cells and exfoliating can improve the effectiveness of skin treatments. As we grow older, the rate at which your body sheds skin slows down and it might seem dull. Using a physical exfoliant, like the Garnier 2-in-1 mask, may be a good way to renew those cells and speed up the shedding process.

The first thing that I noticed is that this product smells so good! If you like scrubs that have a sweet and clean fragrance, you will love this! I first tried it as a facial scrub. When I applied it, I realized that although it is a scrub, the exfoliating beads are not extremely rough. Although it is not super rough, it is the perfect texture to gently exfoliate the skin. As I rubbed it into my skin, the mask created a lather and it felt really nice.

Once I rinsed it off, I noticed that my skin felt really soft. After further inspection, my skin did look a lot brighter! I have oily and sensitive skin and it left my skin feeling hydrated and soft. I was worried of my skin becoming dry after using the scrub but thankfully, that did not happen.

Using scrubs that have natural ingredients is important because fruits like apricots are rich in vitamins. According to Medical Daily, apricots have vitamins A, C and E. Also, the natural acids in apricots can be helpful for gently removing dead skin cells.

The second time, I tried this product as a mask. I washed my face, used a toner then applied an even layer of the Garnier apricot scrub. After 5 minutes, as directed, I gently scrubbed in the mask and rinsed it. I noticed that leaving the mask on for a few more minutes adds more hydration to the skin. The result was similar to when I just used it as a scrub. It did a great job at moisturizing my skin and making it brighter.

I would definitely recommend this product, especially if you have sensitive skin! I love the scent and feel of this mask. It did exactly what Garnier claimed and I will use it again.
